David Mladjenovic Attends High Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development at United Nations

David Mladjenovic, in his role as Director of the Public Private Partnership Fund (P3 Fund), attended the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) held under the auspices of the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations. The event took place from Monday, July 10 to Wednesday, July 19, 2023, including a three-day ministerial segment from Monday, July 17 to Wednesday, July 19, as part of the High-level Segment of the Council.

This year’s HLPF revolved around the theme of “Accelerating the recovery from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and the full implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development at all levels. The HLPF has shed light on the profound challenges brought about by the pandemic, and allowed member states of the United Nations to harness the lessons learned during this crisis, reaffirm their political commitments and accelerate progress towards the goals through multi-stakeholder partnerships.

The HLPF in July also marked the mid-term review of the SDGs’ implementation and laid the groundwork for the 2023 SDG Summit, set to be convened under the auspices of the General Assembly in September 2023.
