David Mladjenovic Produces Forum at United Nations Headquarters

On Tuesday, January 30th, 2024, David Mladjenovic produced a Forum Discussion on Sustainable Tourism at United Nations Headquarters in New York. The event convened to address the crucial role of sustainable tourism in achieving the 2030 Development Agenda, adopted by 193 member countries of the UN General Assembly.

Hosted by the United Nations Staff Recreation Council’s Communications and Technology Club in conjunction with the Mission of Solomon Islands to the United Nations, the forum facilitated dialogue among between government leaders and private sector representatives from the tourism industry. The event featured a special presentation from the World Bank Group, highlighting best practices in sustainable tourism. Panelists included distinguished representatives from the Beverly Hills Conference & Visitors Bureau and SH Hotels & Resorts.
